Who is the Adirondack Artist?

The Adirondack Artist, William P. Wiatr, lives in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains with his wife and two children.  He was introduced to painting at an early age by his grandmother, who "gave her all" to see the gift blossom within him.  William has had no formal training.  He says “It is a gift from the Lord”.

William started painting around 1976.  Thousands of his paintings and prints are all over the world.  He paints the Adirondack Mountains, lakes and wildlife.  William custom mattes and frames all his Lumira and Giclee fine art prints.

William currently has 85 prints available, many of which are viewable through this website.  He also makes over 300 sizes of old barn siding frames, and custom matte work to make the perfect gift for yourself or someone special.
